I read this recently and it struck a chord as I make sure I remember those who have left us. A child asks their mother why do the good go first. The mother said why do you pick those stars and flowers? The child replied because they are the prettiest flowers and the brightest stars that seem to shine forever……….and that simply was Ian the brightest star I had the pleasure to meet and he leaves an indelible mark on friends forever.
